I gave another check to the Grand County Library District for their Breast Cancer Resources today. This made the goal I had set months ago to try and raise $3,000.00 to buy books, DVDs and other resources related to breast cancer. I'd like to thank everyone who bought a CD or T-shirt to help this worthy cause. It's probably fitting that it took until now to reach the goal because October is breast cancer awareness month. Pictured above with myself is librarian Marlene Leiser and cutting the ribbon is the mayor of Granby, Jynnifer Piero. There are many books already on the shelves of all the libraries in the district and more on the way. I'd like to personally thank Penny Hamilton, Stephanie Ralph, Jeanine Elsener, Toni Harless, Bob Rinker and Kathy Whitman for all their help with the Ribbons Of Hope Campaign.
